Responsibilities

The Psychosocial Rehabilitation Director provides best practice, quality clinical services, ensures all documentation is completed per Payer’s, state licensing agent’s, COA, & HCA’s standards and established guidelines and assists with marketing for new referrals.

 

  • Communicate with customers, colleagues, and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate or explain information, and address complaints/concerns.
  • Develop Recovery Support Plans with the input of the client, treatment team and the Clinical Supervisor
  • Provide group social building and skill building as outlined in the Recovery Support Plan based on IMR evidenced based curriculum.
  • Implement Health Connect America approved therapeutic interventions as delineated on the treatment plan with clients and their families
  • Complete all client documentation within established time frames. Work closely with therapist who serves as supervisor of PSR to ensure curriculum is implemented.
  • Attend and actively participate in weekly Treatment Team meetings
  • Do a monthly schedule of activities following the evidenced based curriculum of Illness Management and Recovery (IMR)
  • Link the client and family with specific services and resources as identified in the Individual Service Plan and RSP.
  • Serve as a liaison with other professionals and agencies as related to the client
  • Actively recruit new referrals to ensure that your program succeeds
  • Ensure compliance with all state regulatory bodies & COA standards.
  • Participate in and complete all assigned training and professional development activities, including E Learning courses. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human services discipline, including, but not limited to:  Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Counseling, Criminal Justice, etc.).
  • Must be eligible to hold a MS DMH credential (PCCSS or CCSS credential).
