Responsibilities

The Intake Coordinator is responsible for referral process, intakes, and all phases of the authorization process, may provide services to clients as assigned, and assists with marketing.

 

  • Communicate with customers, employees, and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate or explain information, and address complaints.
  • Review and ensure clinical documentation is complete and submitted in established timelines for assessments, RDA’s, and pre-certifications/authorizations, and concurrent reviews.
  • Process and track referrals for all programs.
  • Assign assessments and ensure that paperwork is returned by assigned staff within established timelines.
  • Assist with assigning caseloads and identifying hiring needs.
  • Assist in marketing and developing regional territory in conjunction with regional budget and strategic plan.
  • Assist in providing orientation and training to staff as assigned.
  • May assist in providing clinical oversight in day-to-day operations to include client crises.
  • Assist in preparing annual budget and review monthly financial statements.
  • Assist in developing annual strategic plan.
  • Ensure compliance with all state regulatory bodies.
  • Complete assessments and provide treatment services with a small caseload as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in human services discipline, including, but not limited to:  Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Counseling, Criminal Justice, etc.) and 2 years’ experience working with children (experience can include internships, volunteer work, etc.) is preferred;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in above disciplines with 2 years’ experience working with children (experience can include internships, volunteer work, etc.).
