Responsibilities

The State Training Facilitator will provide training and support to newly hired staff and ongoing direct care trainings across the state. Assist DCLDs in providing additional training to management team regarding HCA processes and procedures.

 

  • Assist DCLDs across the state in improving, facilitating and participating in bi-weekly new hire orientation.
  • Facilitate individual, group, and team trainings across the state.
  • Facilitate weekly new hire orientation calls for new hires.
  • Develop and improve training materials for direct care staff as identified by DCLD/RDO.
  • Provide mentorship to Direct care staff in need as identified by the DCLD/RDO.
  • Provide assistance and mentoring to other staff as needed.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the region's annual strategic plan.
  • Assist in all processes of orientation of staff.
  • Attend training team and program team meetings as requested.
  • Coordinate and assist in activities and audits which ensure the region's compliance with all state regulatory bodies, payer sources, and accreditation.
  • Provide direct care services to assigned clients and document services according to HCA standards and licensure and payer requirements as needed.
  • Complete and submit clinical documentation within specified time frame as needed.

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in a human services discipline, such as Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or Criminal Justice, with a focus on mental health services.
  • 2 years of experience working in mental health services with children and/or families.
  • Experience in leadership and management with at least 2 years of successful employment with HCA.
