Responsibilities

This is a Hybrid Role with 1-2 days per week required in our Brentwood, TN Office

 

The Senior Business Analyst serves as a key member of the Enterprise Project Management Office (ePMO), helping translate strategic intent into measurable outcomes and enterprise-wide value creation. This role is responsible for gathering and defining business requirements, mapping processes, identifying dependencies, and ensuring projects meet established success criteria. In addition to supporting strategic initiatives, the Senior Business Analyst will establish the Business Analyst playbook for Health Connect America, setting the standards, methodologies, and best practices that will guide future business analysts and project teams.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead functional and non-functional requirements elicitation and definition for complex, cross-functional strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain process maps, workflows, gap and impact analyses, and dependency diagrams to support enterprise planning and execution.
  • Facilitate stakeholder interviews, workshops, and working sessions to ensure alignment and clarity.
  • Build and maintain the Business Analyst playbook, including templates, methodologies, and governance practices.
  • Identify and document critical data paths, source reports, and departmental data needs to ensure data-driven decision-making.
  • Guide stakeholder engagement strategies, ensuring alignment across diverse teams and business units.
  • Monitor and report on project success metrics, ensuring alignment with SMART goals and strategic outcomes.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to project sponsors, stakeholders, and technical teams, translating business needs into actionable solutions.
  • Champion continuous improvement and performance measurement across the business analysis discipline.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis across multiple BABOK® knowledge areas, including:
    1. Business Analysis Planning & Monitoring
    2. Elicitation & Collaboration
    3. Requirements Life Cycle Management
    4. Strategy Analysis
    5. Requirements Analysis & Design Definition
    6. Solution Evaluation
  • Experience supporting UAT and working with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in healthcare or human services environments is a plus.
  • Preferred: IIBA certification or CBAP certification.
