Responsibilities

Scope of Services

This Business Intellegence Developer contract opportunitywill design, develop, and maintain business intelligence and reporting solutions that support operational, financial, and executive decision-making, with a primary focus on converting Excel-based reporting into scalable Power BI dashboards and reports. Services will also include data modeling, ETL and SQL development, as well as the development and maintenance of custom SQL-based reports for the organization’s EHR and client databases, including CareLogic.

  • Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, datasets, semantic models, KPIs, and visualizations to support executive, operational, financial, and program-level decision-making.

  • Transform and integrate data from multiple sources using Alteryx, Power Query, DAX, and other ETL processes while maintaining scalable data models and data quality standards.

  • Develop and maintain custom SQL-based reports and data extracts from the organization’s EHR and client databases to support operational and clinical reporting needs.

  • Translate business requirements into effective reporting solutions, troubleshoot data and performance issues, and ensure accuracy, consistency, usability, and governance across reporting platforms.

  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and automation while supporting testing, deployment, documentation, training, and ongoing reporting enhancements.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications 

  • Two or more years of experience developing reports and dashboards in Power BI.
  • Strong knowledge of Power Query, DAX, data modeling, and visualization best practices.
  • Experience writing SQL queries and working with relational databases.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with Alteryx Designer.
  • Experience reporting from electronic health record (EHR) or client database systems; familiarity with CareLogic is preferred.
  • Experience developing healthcare, behavioral health, or clinical reporting solutions.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional data modeling.
  • Experience working with large datasets and enterprise reporting environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
